In June 2016 Artemis was asked to prepare a Statement of Significance for the church of All Saints, Weston in Bath.  The church lies in the Bath Citywide Conservation Area and World Heritage Site.  The parish is seeking to reorder the interior of the church to provide flexible accommodation and to build an extension to house meeting rooms, toilets, servery and staff space.

We undertook a detailed assessment of the history and significance of the fabric.  This building has a complex history including medieval, Georgian and Victorian phases and re-orderings.  The church is particularly notable for the number and quality of its Georgian monuments, both within the church and in the churchyard.

The project is ongoing.  We anticipate that the detailed assessment of significance will assist the parish and their architects to develop the building for the needs of today, whilst having appropriate regard for the heritage values of the church and its setting.
